Reds Ask Homer Bailey to Win Third Game of Series with Marlins Saturday

Cincinnati has won the first two games of this four-game set with Miami to start the weekend and will send Homer Bailey to the mound for game three. Bailey has not been as effective this year as in year’s past, but he still heads this Reds rotation. Miami is hanging around in the NL East, just six games out of first place. We will take the Reds on the road as they win the first three games of this series.

Bailey and Reds working to regain footing in Central

After a rough patch over the past couple of weeks, the Reds have dropped further down in the NL Central standings. They sit 5.5 games out of first even with their two wins to open the series with the Marlins. They are just 4-6 in their last 10 games played. Bailey has an ERA just over four after throwing eight strong innings against Arizona his last time on the mound.

Marlins trying their best to compete in NL East

Miami is doing everything it can to hang tough in the NL East with the Nationals and the Braves, who have yet to run away with the division. The Marlins added righty Jarred Cosart from the Astros at the trade deadline to bolster their injury-riddled rotation. He made his debut Friday night and took the loss after allowing four earned runs in a little over five innings pitched. Nathan Eovaldi takes the hill tonight.

When the Marlins and the Reds meet for game three of four on Saturday night, we will place our bets at TopBet.eu. At this popular online sportsbook, the Reds are underdogs on the road. Despite this, we will drop 10 percent of our bankroll on Cincinnati and the OVER seven total runs scored at -125 as they win their third straight game of this series.
