Texans vs Saints Week 2 2010 Preseason NFL Football Matchup

When the Texans and Saints meet in Week Two 2010 preseason NFL action it marks the third year in a row that these teams have met in the preseason. The Saints spanked the Texans 38-14 in Week 2 in 2009 and the Texans squeaked out a 31-27 win in Week 2 in 2008.

The odds makers are expecting a close game this time around as the Saints are listed as a -1 point favorite with the game total set at 41 total points.

Houston Texans vs New Orleans Saints

These teams should know each other pretty well by kickoff as they have been sharing the same practice facility all week. In the previous two match-ups the underdog is 2-0 against the spread and the money line. The game total went over, by double digits and a 17 point average, in both games.

While the Saints boast being Super Bowl Champions, the Texans won’t back down in this one. During their shared practice on Thursday five separate battles broke out as everyone seemed to want a piece of everyone.

All World wide receiver Andre Johnson is the odds on favorite at +600 to have the most receiving yards during the 2010 NFL season and he will want to make a statement against the Super Bowl Champs.
