Peyton Manning: A Pain In The Neck For The Colts?

Franchise QB Peyton Manning, and his relationship with the Indianapolis Colts – the club he resurected from the dead, is about to end. Rumors are running rampant on where, along with if, Big Brother Manning will be playing during the 2012 NFL season.

While we are of the opinion that Peyton shouldn’t risk his future and just retire, Brother Eli just stoked the coals with his second Super Bowl win. That certainly doesn’t make retirement an easy decision for Peyton.

Redskins & Dolphins Possible Peyton Suitors

Both the Dolphins and Redskins need a reliable starting QB as Matt Moore and Rex Grossman are not the answers for either team. Much like the Colts will with Andrew Luck, Washington is looking to land a franchise QB in the April 2012 NFL Draft. If Robert Griffin III falls to the Redskins with the 6th overall pick, Peyton will not land in the Nation’s Capital.

We see South Beach as the better choice for Manning. Throwing to Brandon Marshall, Devon Bees, Anthony Fasano, and Reggie Bush, is way more talent than anything the Redskins can field. With former Green Bay OC Joe Philbin now in Miami, Packers backup QB Matt Flynn is also in the picture as the Dolphins possible starter.

The drama, something we never expected with Peyton Manning, is flowing fast. He has definitely become a pain in the neck for the Colts and their owner Jim Irsay – who will probably have to cut his one time Team Savior.
