NFL 2012 Schedule: Regular Season Match-Ups

Though the NFL 2012 kickoff is still 128 days away, nothing kindles our spirit quite like the release of the NFL regular season schedule. Key match-ups abound on the schedule and we can’t wait for it to get going.

Right out the gate we see a couple key contests as the Dallas Cowboys will travel to the Meadowlands to face the Giants, while Peyton Manning will make his first start for the Broncos against the Steelers in Week 1.

Week One NFL Monday Night Football: Betting Double Dip

One of the best moves the NFL ever made was to set up two games during the Week One Monday Night Football schedule. We have a couple of beauties again this year as AFC North foes clash when the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Baltimore to face the hated Ravens in the early game.

Immediately following that contest, bitter inter-state rivals collide, as the Oakland Raiders will head south to battle the San Diego Chargers. There’s no love lost between these two American Football Conference West clubs and this contest is a dandy. Back the home team in both contests!

NFL Thursday Triple Header: Thanksgiving Day Wagering Feast

Every year, after we look at the Week One NFL schedule, we immediately jump to the Week 12 action to check out the Thanksgiving Day football feast. NFL betting fans have a lot to be thankful for again this year as the they get another NFL Thursday triple header wagering feast.

A couple of teams on the rise get the action going as the Houston Texans visit Ford Field in the Motor City to battle the Detroit Lions. Following that, we get treated to one of the most heated rivalries in sports. The Washington Redskins, and the number two overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft quarterback Robert Griffin III, head to Dallas to clash with the Cowboys.

We wrap up the Thanksgiving football-betting feast with another bitter rivalry game, as the New England Patriots will try to ground the New York Jets when they travel to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
