Eagles vs Panthers NFL Week 12 Monday Night Football Odds

Carolina Panthers: So close – yet so far all season long

Take away two blowouts, in Week 3 to the Giants and Week 10 to the Broncos, and we find that it’s been a season of close call for the Carolina Panthers. Unfortunately for the Cats, they have been on the wrong side in each of those contests. Carolina (2-8) has lost five games that were decided by five points or less including a two point loss to the 9-1 Atlanta Falcons.

How the Panthers react to blowing an eleven point lead, before falling 27-21 in OT to Tampa Bay in Week 11 action, is a bit of a concern here. Unlike the Eagles, Carolina is relatively healthy and they don’t appear to have packed it in just yet. We’re always a little leery of teams with a losing record that take on the role of road favorites but the Panthers still have some fight in their claws.

Philadelphia Eagles: Philly is putting the function in dysfunctional

Look up the word dysfunctional in the dictionary and you may find a picture of the Philadelphia Eagles beside the definition. While they weren’t amongst the top favorites to win Super Bowl XLVII, the Eagles were in a number of conversations as a team to watch back in August. Fast forward to November and we find that Philadelphia (3-7) is filled with follies these days.

Having lost six straight games, the “Feebles” look like they may have hit rock bottom after a 31-6 blowout loss to Washington during Week 11 NFL action. The Eagles mounting injuries don’t help their cause but this is a football club that’s a total mess on so many levels right now.
