Houston Asking Dallas Keuchel to End Four-Game Losing Streak Tonight

Houston has shown flashes of something special this year, but they are mired in a four-game slump right now. That will happen when you have so many unproven rookies in your lineup. Dallas Keuchel will be tasked with ending the losing streak when the Angels host Houston on Friday night for the second game of a four-game series in the AL West. We are going to back the Astros in an upset.

Astros need Keuchel to rebound right now

Dallas Keuchel saw his ERA balloon to 2.78 after his previous two starts, in which he allowed eight runs on 15 hits in 14 innings pitched. He missed his latest scheduled start due to inflammation in his left wrist, but is due back on the mound Friday night to face the Angels. Keuchel has been a pleasant surprise for the Astros and has become their de facto ace.

Angels send their own lefty to the mound Friday night

C.J. Wilson will get the ball for Los Angeles on Friday night and he couldn’t be happier to see the month of July. He was downright awful in the month of June. He pitched to an ERA of 5.97 in six starts and allowed 10 runs in his last 8.2 innings pitched, which spanned two starts. The Angels won the opener of this four-game set with the Astors by a score of 5-2 on Thursday night. Wilson allowed five runs on six hits in just 2.2 innings pitched the last time he faced the Astros on June 3.

We will place our baseball bets Friday night at Bovada.lv, where the Angels are favored at home. Despite Los Angeles being favored, we like Houston to win this game, which is why we will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the Astros and the OVER eight total runs scored at -105 on Friday night. Place your bets now and enjoy the action on Independence Day.
