Chicago and Minnesota Meet for Game Four Friday Night with Blackhawks Up 2-1

The Western Conference playoffs have been thrilling so far, a little bit more exciting than the Eastern Conference playoffs to date. One series that is closer than expected is that of Chicago and Minnesota. The Blackhawks lead 2-1, but could be headed for a commanding 3-1 lead over the Wild on Friday night. We will back Chicago as they take the two-game lead in the series on the road.

Blackhawks ready to rebound for a win

Chicago exploded out of the gate to grab a 2-0 series lead, only to fall in game three by a count of 4-0. They were overrun by the Wild, but know they can rebound and grab a 3-1 series lead even though tonight’s game is on the road. The game three loss came on the road, but Chicago is too good of a team to drop a second straight game. Chicago cannot afford another poor offensive night.

Wild trying to build off shutout win for rest of series

Minnesota’s 4-0 win in game three in front of their home fans put them in a very good position. The Wild host another home game tonight with the chance to erase their 2-0 deficit in the series before heading back to Chicago. Minnesota will more than likely lean on Ilya Bryzgalov in net for tonight’s contest after he pitched the shutout in game three. Can they pull off another upset win? We will find out soon enough.

We are going to use the betting odds at TopBet.eu on Friday night for the NHL second-round playoff game between Chicago and Minnesota in the Western Conference. Despite losing game three and being on the road, the Blackhawks are favored in this game. We will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on Chicago and the -135 money line as they take a 3-1 series lead over the Minnesota Wild.
