2010 College Football Preview – Big East Division

The 2010 College Football season is about to kickoff and to help get you prepared so that you have something to talk about in between commercial breaks and beer runs, we’ve put together a preview of the Big East Conference for the upcoming College Football season.

In College Football the top favorites to win the BCS National Championship typically change every season with many teams’ starting players graduating, and/or freshmen players opting to transfer schools. The Big East Conference has always been known for their gritty offense and the intense rivalry between schools in the same conference.

Below you will find our predicted rankings for the Big East Conference for the upcoming College Football season. The numbers in brackets refer to the teams overall ranking in College Football standings.

As you can see from the above rankings, only 2 teams from the Big East have been ranked within the top 25 teams in College Football for this upcoming College Football season.

The West Virginia Mountaineers are the clear favorites this season to win the Big East Conference. The West Virginia Mountaineers are led by head coach Bill Stewart who had a record of 9-4 last College football season. Jarrett Brown will be the Mountaineers starting quarterback this upcoming season.
