  Please Note: Legends Sports’ closed in April 2013 and WagerWeb.ag has picked up exisitng client accounts. Legends was a top rated sportsbook by multiple other review sites, although statistics (i.e. memberships stats etc.) were not available on the site. Owned by LegendZ Gaming Corporation, players can get action on all the major sports, prop bets or jump to legends’ casino, racebook, poker room or teaser options. Legends has their own general betting rules, but for specific incidents defers to the Las Vegas Gaming Commission Rules. They employ about 150, and are one of six sportsbooks that use java-based BLR casino software.

  In terms of security, Legends.com uses a 1024 bit key SSL encryption for protection, and claims to keep all member information confidential and for their own use only.

• Legends Deposit Options

  Players have a variety of ways to deposit their money; debit/credit cards (for US customers only) let you deposit anywhere from $25-$500. Money transfers and U.S.-drawn Cashier’s Cheques have a minimum of $50. Members can also go through Moneybookers for $5-$10,000 deposits, Neteller ($10-$10,000), UKash ($25-$2,000). And, if you already have an account, you can make deposits through Click2Pay, ranging from $1-$1,000.

• Legends Withdrawal Options

  Plastic, Cashier Cheques, money transfers, Moneybooks and Neteller are your payout options. Withdrawals can be made seven days a week, and if requested between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST, you can get your money the same day (money transfers are the exception- they may take one day regardless). There are two ways to ask for your payout – a simple phone call or through an online request form. Legends accepts CAD, USD, EUR and GBP.

• Legends Software / Website

  Legends runs two promotions during the NFL season – “Bet The Board,” where players get a free half point on every NFL game that happens that Sunday (As long you bet EVERY game, and only the Sunday affairs apply). Bets go from $10-$500, you can only do it over the phone and every bet must be the same amount and done over the same phone call. The other is “-107 Juice Football Friday.” It’s simple: place your football bets on Friday, get the money line priced at -107.  Their racebook offers a daily five-per cent rebate program on your previous day’s wagers. The casino lets gamers play the essential games such as blackjack, Caribbean poker and baccarat, American roulette and craps, as well as slots and customizable video poker.

  Legends.com looks nice, accommodates their playesr financially and is top-notch in customer service. However, while they promote a variety of sports to bet on and constantly-updated lines, the site still feels unfinished. Golf, tennis, auto racing and match-up prop bets have nothing in them, yet competitions are happening. As well, the poker room is “coming soon,” meaning that Legends isn’t offering the full slate they advertise. The lack of current bonuses is also a downer, but they’re the only knocks on the site.Assuming the unavailable sports/games will change soon, they really isn’t any major reasons to hate on Legends.com – their site may pat themselves on the back a little too much for our liking, but for what they do, they are fast, efficient and keep their players happy. Isn’t that all you can really ask for?
