NHL 2012 Conference Final Betting Trends Through Two Games

NHL playoff action has reached a feverish pitch as the road to the Stanley Cup is now at the Conference Final stage. It’s the New Jersey Devils battling the New York Rangers with the series tied at a game apiece.

Over in the West the Los Angeles Kings are up 2-0 against the Phoenix Coyotes. Let’s take a look at some of the betting trends through the first games of the Finals. We still like a Kings vs. Rangers Cup Final.

Western Conference Final LA Kings: Road Warriors Roll On

If you’ve been following us here at Sportsbook Review, or any of our sister sites, you know that we have been high on the Los Angeles Kings since they drew a battle weary Vancouver Canucks team in the first round of the National Hockey League 2011-2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

When it comes to Stanley heading to Hollywood, it’s so far – so good, as the road warrior Kings have now won an NHL playoff record tying seven straight road games. That includes the first two of the Western Conference Final against the Phoenix Coyotes in Glendale. The Kings have also won and covered in six straight contests – with four of the battles going OVER the total puck line.

Eastern Conference Final: Devils Steal Home Ice Advantage From Rangers

Over in the Eastern Conference Final the New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers “Battle Across The Hudson” is tied at a game apiece after the Devils won 3-2 on Wednesday night. That follows a series opening 3-0 win by the Rangers back on Monday. We expect the Blueshirts to bounce back.

With Martin Brodeur and Hendrik Lundquist minding the nets, we don’t see any of the games going OVER the total the rest of the way in this series. Also, despite the Game Two Conference Final loss by the Rangers, we will be taking pucks as the series shifts across the Hudson River to the Rock in Newark, New Jersey. Expect hard fought, tight checking action for the rest of this series.

Puck bettors can get in on the remaining Conference Final action, as well as the thrilling Stanley Cup Final, at any of the SBR top rated online sportsbooks. Registration takes a matter of minutes and our recommended offshore betting websites are offering fantastic puck wagering bonus offers!
