MLB Free Pick Predictions: Wednesday Baseball Betting Odds

Parting is such sweet sorrow but, we must leave the gambling Capitol of the World today. We are heading out in style though as we preview the Wednesday Major League Baseball betting odds and bring you a couple of solid wagering Free Picks to pad your bankroll!

With the likes of Roy Halladay, Jered Weaver, Tim Lincecum, Daniel Hudson, Clayton Kershaw, and Ivan Nova, all taking the mound today, we see some excellent betting options on the MLB betting landscape today. We didn’t even get to the Detroit Tigers game.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Houston Astros

Let’s start with the eventual NL Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay and the Phillies. The Astros (51-97) have won the first two games of this series and, very surprisingly, are the eighth best hitting team in baseball.

Doc Halladay will make sure the Phillies (94-51) don’t get swept by the last place team in all of baseball in this one. This matinee contest is scheduled for 2:05 PM ET from Houston, Texas.

New York Yankees vs. Seattle Mariners

New York saw their bats go silent last night in a 3-2 win over Seattle. As they close out a three game set with the lowly Mariners tonight, the Yankees turn to RHP Ivan “Super” Nova (15-4) for the series sweep. LHP Jason Vargas gets the call for the Mariners and he is 2-8 in his last 12 starts.

Look for the Bronx Bombers to pile on tonight, as this game closes out the Wednesday night baseball action at 10:10 PM ET from Seattle, Washington.
