Clippers vs Pistons Sunday Night NBA Hoop Betting Odds

Taking a short break from the National Hockey League, tonight our focus shifts to hoop betting action from the National Basketball Association and the clash between the Los Angeles Clippers and lowly Detroit Pistons.

Tip-off for the Los Angeles vs. Detroit contest is slated for 9:30 PM ET on March 10, 2013, from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The Pistons roll into SoCal to face a slightly sputtering Clippers club tonight.

Los Angeles Clippers: Crazy schedule bumps LA to fourth

After going undefeated in December (16-0) it’s been an up and down ride for the Clippers in the New Year. Los Angeles has gone 19-14 over their last 33 games and currently sit fourth overall in the Western Conference standings. The Clippers are 2-2 in March and should be steaming mad after a 107-92 drubbing in Denver against the Nuggets on Thursday. Prior to that, LA buried the Bucks 117-101 in Milwaukee. Five of the Clippers last eight wins have been by at least 16 points.

Detroit Pistons: Motor City Bad Boys are now just a bad basketball team

Sitting with a 23-41 record, Detroit has lost four straight games and the Pistons have gone 7-16 in their past 23 games. This is the second and final match-up between these clubs on the 2012-13 NBA schedule. Detroit hung tough with the streaking Clippers for three quarters before allowing 25 fourth quarter points in an 88-76 loss at The Palace of Auburn Hills back in December. Detroit’s last game was in Dallas on Friday night where they dropped a 102-99 decision to the 28-33 Mavericks.
